ABOUT WILLIAMSON COUNTY SCHOOLS

This school was established in 1982 in response to the growing population of Williamson County’s northern region and to relieve the overcrowding at Franklin High School.

The campus has seen many renovations and expansions since its opening. These were done to increase capacity and improve athletics and arts facilities. To keep up with the school’s rapidly growing enrollment, additional classrooms were built in 1985.

Some arts facilities were built in 1987. These included chorus and drama classes and an auditorium that served as an additional gym.

In 2000, several athletic facilities were upgraded, including a field house with a weight room and a football locker room, a wrestling area, a scrimmage room, a multipurpose facility, improvements to the football stadium, and new soccer fields.

The former auditorium was transformed into a permanent gym and 500-seat performing art centre in 2014.

ABOUT WILLIAMSON COUNTY SCHOOLS

The $4.8 million auditorium was constructed as part of a multiphase project, which included the construction of auditoriums at all Williamson County high and middle schools.

The $19.6million improvement project, which will include more classroom space, better athletic facilities, and a three-story STEM building, is currently underway.

This project, which will improve pedestrian and vehicular circulation on campus and add parking, will be completed by March 2019.
